Abstract

As pesquisas na área da Genéticaagravaram a já conflituosa relação "pesquisador/sujeito pesquisado", ampliando as fronteiras da identidade pessoal aomicrocosmo dos gens e trazendo problemas relativos àcoleta e divulgação das informações genéticas. O artigo enfrenta a questão dos limites daliberdade de pesquisa e as consequências que esta poderá acarretar para a identidade e intimidade, em especial a discriminação pautada eminformações genéticas.
