Abstract

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo refletir sobre a aplicabilidade do Estudo Prévio de Impacto Ambiental nas atividades potencialmente lesivas ao meio ambiente, evitando, dessa forma, lesão de toda a ordem. Partindo da premissade queo meio ambiente ecologicamente equilibrado é considerado direito fundamental e que não há vida saudável em um ambiente desequilibrado, o estudo prévio de impacto ambiental representa instrumento dos mais importantes, pois integra o procedimento administrativo que objetiva a concessão da licença ambiental, sem a qual não se permite odesenvolvimento da atividade empresarial pretendida.
