Abstract

O surgimento das gangues juvenis está relacionado a preenchi- mento de certas necessidades, com destaque para o consumo de certos produtos que serão o marco definidor do status do jovem dentro da gangue. O texto analisa a origem das gangues juvenis, expondo a opinio de vários autores, dentre eles Albert Cohen, Walter B. Miller, Cloward e Ohlin.
