Abstract

This paper studies the Companhia Melhoramentos Norte do Paraná four main cities urban design. By the analysis of the formal components of Londrina, Maringá, Cianorte and Umuarama - such as the site characteristics, the urban grid conformation, the district delimitation, the streets articulation, the design of public and private spaces and their relevant aspects - as well as their implication on urban environment, this research points out the designing references and strategies adopted to create each of those urban forms

Especialista em história da arquitetura e do urbanismo, com ênfase na produção do século XX.
