Abstract

Current analysis presents oral and documentary sources for research on European immigrant groups established in South American countries. The Oral History methodology has been employed. Samples of research work with different immigrant groups, such as, Saxons, Silesians, Genovese and Venetians, will be provided. In fact, their histories were revised by the aforementioned sources. Revised events carried out by interviews based on Oral History and the analysis of the wide range of documents made possible the rewriting of History within new perspectives.
