Women, study, work and social relations of sex
Abstract
This article aims to analyze the meanings of the working time, study and care practices of the female workers of CEEBJA, in the city of Irati, Paraná state, permeated by social relations of sex. These are the results of a master's thesis, in which quantitative and qualitative methodologies were used, with the application of questionnaires and interviews. As a methodological presupposition of the research, we used Marx’s social theory and its contribution in relation to the concept of work, as well as the category of totality, understood as the complex of social relations understood in its determinations and correlations, dynamics and contradictions. Sex, as well as race/ethnicity and class are determinants in the use of these times.
