Abstract

This article aims to analyze the speeches institutionalized by the industry of beauty and aesthetics as discursive tools that meet the logic of legitimizing identity. The paper attempts to establish the saying as true, causing a chain of meaning that discriminates not only products, as people, contributing to the standard of whiteness. It also intends to discuss the relations of power as category of circulation exercised by individuals
