Do health and education concern the bachelor and teaching programs in physical education?
Abstract
There has been an increasing trend to privilege the health area in bachelor programs and education in teaching programs after the initial formation in Physical Education was divided in these two separate programs. Public policies guiding professionals from the health and education areas are analyzed in this article in order to discuss the relevance of the themes in both modalities of formation. Documents highlight the need to deal with health in the school environment and education in the National Health System based on a critical approach comprising social transformations such as developing people’s autonomy in addition to improving people’s lives stressing the trend for early curriculum specializations.
