Abstract

The purpose of the study was to evaluate the internal consistency and agreement of vertical jump test performed on contact mat (CM) and with Abalakov belt (AB) in 27 male soccer players (18,7+ 0,7 years). The paired student-t test was used to verify differences between the two retained measures for CM and AB. The independent t test was used to verify differences between CM and AB. The significance level adopted was 5%. It also was used the coefficient of variation (CV) to test the absolute reliability, the intraclass coefficient (ICC) to test the relative reliability, and the limits of agreement between CM and AB were analyzed using Bland-Altman plots. No significant differences between the trials were found to CM as well as to AB. High ICC values and low CV values to CM and AB showed high internal consistency. The limits of agreement suggest not enough agreement between the apparatus.
