Abstract
The objective of this study was to analyze the environmental (quality of work life - QVT) and individual (lifestyle - EV) parameters of quality of life of the physical education teachers from public schools of the Parana state, considering the geographical areas. The sample consisted of 654 teachers, 355 women and 299 men. To collect the data were applied: a sociodemographic questionnaire, the Perceived Quality of Work Life by Physical Education Teachers from Elementary to High School Scale and the Profile of Individual Lifestyle. Statistical analysis used the chi-square, likelihood ratio and multinomial logistic regression. The evidence confirms that most teachers are satisfied with their QVT, and that the teachers from the regions center / south, west and north are the most satisfied. As for the EV, the majority of teachers showed positive behavior, especially those living in metropolitan coast and west areas. Social integration in the school community and the balanced time between leisure and work include new evidence of discontent in the teaching career of public school teachers statewide.Downloads
