<b>The conceptual movement on the multiplication table on the virtual history about Luer and her rocket
Abstract
The research was performed within the context of Teaching Probation in Mathematics, in which a virtual history was elaborated and developed with students, involving the multiplication table of the number three based on the principles of the Teaching Guiding Task as the proposition by Davydov for teaching Mathematics, and on the Historical-Cultural Theory. It was investigated the procedure used on the solving the triggered problem presented on the Virtual History “Luer and her rocket” for students of the fourth year of the Elementary School. The data were collected through field journals and photographic registers. The predominance of empirical though was found. The limits of the visual field, apparently given, precluded the most students the comprehension of the essence of the problem and its correct solving.
