<b>INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS AND THE CONSTITUTION AND THE CONCEPT SYSTEMATISATION ADULT EDUCATION
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to map the concepts of adult education from the 1970s, have become recurring worldwide. The literature search resulted from a survey conducted in the Scientific Advanced Stage, the PhD Scope, from September to December 2012, through the Program of Graduate Studies, Department of Social Sciences of Education, Institute of Education, located on the specialty of Science Education - Educational Policy at the University of Minho (UMinho) in Braga, Portugal. Developed under the guidance of Professor Dr. Licinio Carlos Viana da Silva Lima, the literature relied on the authors of literature as Barros (2011), Canary (2000), Faure et al (1974), Guimarães (2011), Lima (1988; 2007; 2012), Melo et al (1998), among other authors investigating critical sociology and politics of adult education. The result of this research informs that accept the limits of adult education is not subordinate it mechanically to economic sobretederminação, today represented by the slogan of learning throughout life, understood in a fragmented and intermittently. It also states that adult education needs to be much more than a response to the pressure of the economic system, political and social and pedagogical practices need to be guided by refusal to simply reproduce the dominant ideology.
