ADOLESCENCE: A SOCIAL-HISTORICAL PSYCOANALISIS

Abstract
On a usual way, the best known concept of adolescence within Psychology has been marked by tendencies that arouse discussions and focus this important period as a naturalized development, coming along with a biological maturity, not considering, therefore, the social-historical context on which the individuals are inserted. It is possible to observe that profound influences from the psychoanalytical precepts are evident on the dominant conceptions of the teenagers nowadays, on which the authors focus the establishment of the development connected to emotional conditions, evidently neglecting the capacity of the construction of the concept thinking of this period e even universalizing the passage through this phase. To counteract this point of view, our goal in this article is to propose a reflection that pursue the overcoming of comprehension from this phase of development, understanding it as a phase that was caused by the material conditions of production, along with the social-historical development of the mankind and not from a sped process of biological changes that, alone, create a source of changes and syndromes on teenagers. This is, therefore, a theoretical study and, in order to evolve this article, in a primary stage, we will make a retrospective of understanding of the adolescence and to a farther extent show some concepts of Social-Historical Psychology, focusing on how the development of the psyches is entwined to the social-historical conditions.Downloads
