Historiographic research in musical educational institutions basis and reflections

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to study the history of institutions of musical teaching. It was investigated some concepts introduced by the New History and the Oral History. In addition to this, it is presented the methodological proceedings related to the sources (iconographic documents and interviews) and the possible approaches regarding to the presented concept. It also discusses the analyses of the social and cultural network configurations of the teaching staff and the student body and of the teaching model applied in the institution. These reflections and basis reveal a process of multiple approaches – socioeconomics, culturals and educationals – that joint each other in the process of the historiography research.
