Nuances of biographical elements in studies in history and history of education: a synthesis from the state of knowledge
Abstract
This paper discusses what is usually called 'state of the art' and problematizes academic studies focusing on biographies. It analyzes a synthesis of this production, which covers investigations published between the years of 1999 and 2016, with different forms of theoretical and methodological approaches concerning the term biography in academic research in the areas of History and History of Education. Publications from three of each one of the research areas presented in ANPUH events were prioritized. The study points theoretical tensions and problems related to the biographical genre, as well as some possibilities concerning the expansion of such research works in the scope of History of Education.Downloads
