Abstract

This paper brings arguments about the concept of spatial processes defined by various authors and the factors inserted in it. The transformation in structure of geographic space is explained studying the transformation in the social and/or economic structure, where the spatial processes are the mediators. Thus, from the types of the processes studied are: concentration, dispersion, centralization, decentralization, segregation, specialization, invasion-succession and diffusion
