Abstract

This article intends to analyze the texts written by Priest Eduardo Hoornaert published in Revista Eclesiástica Brasileira, during the 60s in the attempt to establish connections between his study on national culture and the objectives of the Roman Catholic Church after the Vatican II.

Possui graduação em Curso de Graduação Em História pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1985) , mestrado em História pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1994) e doutorado em História pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2000) . Atualmente é Professor Adjunto da Universidade Estadual de Maringá. Tem experiência na área de História.
