Abstract

This article presents a short appraisal of the implications of events related to 1968, particularly regarding the counterculture movement and the process of emergence of new identities. It addresses ways in which historical, political and cultural factors ultimately triggered a refusal of projects of that time, a disbelief in institutions, great opposition to the cultural industry and the society of spectacle, fostering the perspective of a behavioral revolution and rendering subjectivity political.
