THE PRESENCE OF FOLKLORE AND FOLK MUSIC IN SCHOOL RADIO PROGRAMS

Abstract

Here, it is about the presence of folklore and folk music in school radio programs produced in an elementary school. This is a study with a qualitative approach that uses the study of qualitative interviews conducted with three students from the 6th and 8th grades of elementary school, analyzed through content analysis. The pedagogical-musical knowledge and its functions, based on Kraemer (2000), and concepts of folklore and folk music, by Wolffenbüttel (2019), substantiate the theoretical framework of the research. Through this study it was possible to identify the folk-musical experiences, the identities and the memories of the investigated students, knowing their conceptions of folklore and folk music.
