Evaluation of the initial formation in physical education: a delphi study
Abstract
The objective of this study was to evaluate the initial formation in Physical Education of a Federal University, according to the view of teachers, students and graduated students. For that, a Delphi study was developed. The results evidenced several aspects related the curricular structure, research and extension, resources, professors and students, academic administration, training programs and scientific events. The demand of monograph defense, the participation in research and extension projects, the access to the internet, the computer science laboratories and class rooms and the accomplishment of training program in the own institution were highlighted as positive aspects. However, the desarticulation among the disciplines of each phase, the absence of clear definition about the lines and research and extension projects, the lack of a specialized nucleus of studies in sport, the precarious state of some facilities and the bibliographycal data from the Central Library converged as main negative aspects of the course among the participants.Downloads
