Short history of the Physical Education and its Current Tendencies from the Identification of Some Tendencies of Ideals and Ideas of Tendencies

Abstract

This article is a reflection regarding to the trajectory of the knowledge which supported the professional education of the Physical Education. It was noticed that along its history the prevalence of the technical and empiric-analytic character resulted in some reflections accomplished in the practice, unless those originated from the anatomical and physiological treatises which were constituted by this professional formation hegemony. The student which is finishing his graduation course is more oriented by a practical focus with no concerns about the scientific basis of the knowledge. Even so, mainly from the final of the seventies, other parameters occurred, other ideas and ideals, most of them based on critical ideas, whose progressive and socialist ideas emerged from the theoretical works of the education.

Carlos Henrique Ferreira Magalhães, UEM
Possui graduação em Licenciatura em Educação Física pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1997) e mestrado em Tecnologia Educacional nas Ciências da Saúde pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2001). Atualmente é professor assistente da Universidade Estadual de Maringá. Tem experiência na área de Educação, com ênfase em Economia da Educação, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: educação e trabalho, trabalho do professor e educação física escolar Currículo Lattes
