Evolution study of corporal scheme in kindergarten children in Municipal schools in Maringá-PR
Abstract
The main of this study was to analysed the corporal scheme evolution in kindergarten children from 4 to 6 years old im Municipal Schools in Maringá. The study was caracterised as "cross-sectional" transversal developmental research. The subjects werw 34 kindergarten children - 12 males and 22 females from Laura Parente Bossolan school in Maringá. The instrument used was a graphic expression test (drawing of the body) and also of knowledge of the parts of the body as proposed by Goodenought and Bérges-Lázime apud CONDEMARÍN et al. (1989). Results show that, generally speaking, kindergarten children presented deeper knowledge of the other, when compared to the corporal knowledge of themselves, they showed an evolution in the drawings. Initially there was a LS (tetard) representation, afterwards, more evoluted drawingswerw present such as AG (geometric of face) and the AR (proportionate of face). Applications of pratica/active activities seem to have an important contrinution for the formation of kindergarten children corporal scheme due to the opportunity of hnowing their own bodies. Girls presented greater evolution of corporal acheme. They also drew more details and better facial expression.Downloads
