The study of the factors that affect the performance of the athlete of handball in situations of numerical superiority and inferiority

Abstract

This study aimed at determining which factors affect the perfonnance of handball athetes in situations of numerical superiority and inferiority. For this, we recorded and analysed 42 games and collected 336 questionaries. The study was divided in 3 parts: Handball in the level of Open Games of Paraná (198 7), Handball in the level of adult Championship of Paraná (1988) and Brazilian Cup of Handball (1989). Through the descriptive statistics, we can verify that the need of tactical and psychological preparation in trainings seem to be the most interferring factors in situations of numerical superiority and inferiority. We suggest for further studies, a following up in trainings, as well as veriffing the opinions of the coaches.

Lenamar Fiorese Vieira, UEM
Possui graduação em Educação Física pela Universidade Estadual de Maringá (1982), mestrado em Ciência do Movimento Humano pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (1993) e doutorado em Ciência do Movimento Humano pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (1999). Atualmente é professora adjunto da Universidade Estadual de Maringá no programa de Pós graduação a nivel de mestrado em Educação Física UEM/UEL. Atua na área de Educação Física, pesquisando principalmente os seguintes temas: desenvolvimento motor, psicologia do esporte e educação física infantil Currículo Lattes
