Abstract
The present study intends to make a brief revision on the investigation centred on teaching effectiveness in Sport, defining its range in a group of variables that marked the empirical investigation in this domain. It starts by situating the role of the systematic observation of the teaching-learning behaviours in the development of the investigation, highlighting the relevance of some general instructional strategies in the teaching effectiveness, among which the feedback stands out. It emphasizes the relevance conferred to the relation between the substantive content and the pedagogic procedures, which join in the act of teaching, which legitimizes the emergency of the Pedagogic Content knowledge concept. Finally, it examines instructional approaches in ecological contexts, associated to the optimization of the learning environments, to the accountability systems' resources and to the structuring of learning tasks, which acquires particular relevance at the actual agenda of the investigation.Downloads
