Preference technique and postural desviations in judoists
Abstract
he aim of this study was to verify if the preference techniue "tokui-waza", in judo determinates postural desviations in adult male athletes, with 5 or more years of practive. Thirty seven athletes from Foz do Iguaçu, Cascavel, Maringá and Curitiba in the state of Paraná practisingfor an average time of 14,1 years werw the subjects. Data werw collected at the subjects’ trainig place. Evaluation instruments werw a postural deviation card, graph paper and a interview for identification. Descriptive and inferential statistics werw used to analyse data. Results show that practising judo using the preference technique "tokui-waza" seems to have negative implications in judoists’ postural development.Downloads
