On the principle of equality of opportunity to education

Abstract

This article approaches the principle of equal possibilities on education access. Man has this natural wishto learn and improve the well-known knowledge of what is already known. It could be compared to thevery desire to live with dignity. The state of being illiterate limits communication and hinders awareness.It is presented as a humiliating phenomenon. Equality of opportunity is a key objective of the educationpolicy in a democratic society and is linked to the individual freedom and the expansion of education.There is an almost complete coincidence to say that the democratization of education and equality ofopportunity are interdependent issues. Generally, the democratization of education is viewed as beingopen to all levels and as a means of large-scale deployment of a formal schooling. However, public sectorresources remain insufficient with respect to expansion of the system, and we believe that equal chanceswill be more feasible when the state financially support private initiativeseducation.
