Abstract

The present text search to portray educativies practicals  established for black, white boys and indians in the Colônia Orfanológica Isabel, institution that functioned in Pernambuco, in the half second XIX century under the caries of the missionaries capuchinhos, with the objective to receive orphans and naive children.
