The concept of adult learner during Franco´s period

Abstract

This article reflects on socio-pedagogical initiatives aimed at adult during the Franco regime in Spain (1939-1975). More specifically, we study the school, professional and civic-cultural actions, that we believe best describe the adult learner and the thought promoted by the dictatorship. To achieve this end, the historical-pedagogical method by the socio-historical approach become indispensable in our document because they allow, on the one hand, the criticism of primary sources (newsletters, magazines, reports) and secondary sources (documents of specialists theme), and, on the other hand, the subsequent interpretation, contextualized and rational, of these.
