O jornal católico Novidades: sentido(s) do educar

Abstract

With the use of the catholic news paper Novidades, as an object of historical research, in general, and the history of education, in particular, we wish to draw the reequation proposal of educative phenomenon, expose by the portuguese catholics, between 1945 and 1950, in the oficious organ of the Church. Starting from a group of thematic areas about education, identified in the morning paper it becomes understandable a trilogy catholic padagogy –new education – new man, which gives itself an organizing idea of the sense(s) of the educate expressed in Novidades.
