A lot has been said about what is discourse, from its philological sources to philosophical theories about it. However, the question “what is discourse” is still unanswered. This work aims not at answering it, but at discussing proposals, not necessarily of its definition

Aloisio de Medeiros Dantas, Universidade Federal da Paraíba

possui graduação em Curso de Licenciatura em Letras pela Universidade Federal da Paraíba (1987) , mestrado em Letras pela Universidade Federal da Paraíba (1991) e doutorado em Estudos Literários pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1998) . Atualmente é Professor Adjunto da Universidade Federal da Paraíba e professor titular da Universidade Federal de Campina Grande. Atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: DISCURSO, DIÃLOGO, ENUNCIAÇÃO, LÃNGUA, SILÊNCIO e TEXTO Currículo Lattes
