Abstract

The aim of this paper is to investigate the theoretical writings on the traditional teaching of history in Brazil in the 1980s in order to understand these authors as social subjects inserted in a particular historical period and their writings as expressions of the struggles, hopes and perspectives of Brazilian society. Dialectics is used as the methodological and theoretical parameter to verify how these authors constructed their criticism of the traditional teaching of history.

Possui graduação em História pela Faculdade de Filosofia Ciências e Letras de Mandaguari (1993) , especialização em Ciências Sociais pela Universidade Estadual de Maringá (1997) , mestrado em Fundamentos da Educação pela Universidade Estadual de Maringá (1998) e doutorado em Educação: História, Política, Sociedade pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (2005) . Atualmente é Professora Adjunto A da Universidade Estadual de Maringá. Tem experiência na área de História , com ênfase em Teoria e Filosofia da História. Atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Paraná, hisotria da disciplina, Ensino secundário Currículo Lattes
