Abstract

The establishment of connections between the globalization process and the new international division of labour which produces new uses of space is provided. An understanding is required on how the process of internationalization of capital supported by new technologies promotes new tendencies of space production.

Maria Cristina Rosa, UEM

Possui graduação em Ciências Sociais pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina (1982) , mestrado em Sociologia pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1990) e doutorado em Geografia (Geografia Humana) pela Universidade de São Paulo (2000) . Atualmente é Professor Adjunto da Universidade Estadual de Maringá. Tem experiência na área de Sociologia , com ênfase em Sociologia Rural.
