Abstract

The noun phrase which works as the subject of a sentence can be morphologically accomplished through lexicon, pronoun or ellipsis. The choice of one of them is not done at random but according to the motivation provoked by internal and external factors to the linguistic system. The investigation of these rules is based on sociolinguistics and pragmatics.
