Abstract

We propose the practice of poetic texts translation in order to develop students' autonomy in foreign language teaching and literary criticism in Language Arts majors. In order to better explain the proposal, we present an analysis of two translations of Énivrez-vous, Baudelaire’s prose poem, followed by a new translation

Marciano Lopes e Silva, UEM

Possui graduação em Oceanologia pela Fundação Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (1988), graduação em Letras pela Fundação Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (1991), mestrado em Letras pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1994) e doutorado em Letras pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2005). Atualmente é professor adjunto a da Universidade Estadual de Maringá. Tem experiência na área de Letras, com ênfase em Literatura e História/Sociedade, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Raul Pompéia, Romantismo, literatura e regionalismo, crítica literária, ensino de literatura e poética. Também é poeta e compositor-letrista Currículo Lattes
