Abstract

This study identifies the relation between occupation and space organization of the state of Paraná and its natural resources. Research was undertaken in several places by means of extensive bibliographic research, observations and interviews with long time residents. The different economical periods were adopted as a working method. However, the lack of extensive analyses on problems related to the impact of the economical periods doesn’t imply that they have been suppressed.

Leonor Marcon da Silveira, UEM

Possui graduação em Licenciatura Em Estudos Sociais pela Universidade Estadual de Maringá (1974), graduação em Geografia pela Universidade Estadual de Maringá (1972), mestrado em Geografia pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho Presidente Prudente (1996) e doutorado em Geografia Física pela Universidade de São Paulo (2003). Atualmente é professora adjunta nivel B da Universidade Estadual de Maringá. Tem experiência na área de Geociências, com ênfase em Climatologia Geográfica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: frente polar atlântica, sistemas atmosféricos, tempo atmosférico, produção e produtividade e comportamento pluviométrico Currículo Lattes
