Abstract

The aim of the present paper is to discuss the structure of the positivistic philosophy, developed by Auguste Comte in the nineteenth century with the objective of disseminating the necessity for order to make progress viable, and the ideas of Leopold von Ranke who advocated scientific neutrality, thus showing the influence of these autors in the establishment of the public school system and in the teaching of History.

Rosângela Célia Faustino, UEM

Possui graduação em História pela Universidade Estadual de Maringá (1994), mestrado em Educação pela Universidade Estadual de Maringá (1999) e doutorado em Educação pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2006). Atualmente é Professora Adjunto da Universidade Estadual de Maringá. Tem experiência na área de Educação, com ênfase em Politicas Educacionais, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: educação escolar indígena, ensino-aprendizagem, interculturalidade, multiculturalismo, alfabetização e bilinguismo Currículo Lattes
