<b>The pedagogical function of Hadewijch texts</b> - doi: 10.4025/actascieduc.v33i2.14375
Abstract
To Hadewijch the virtues were not inborn nor grew spontaneously, on the contrary, should be cultivated within each Christian, it was a matter of study, exercise. The Christian principles had to be constantly encouraged and practiced in order that women did not departed from Christ ideal that as a men was an example of love and virtues. In this sense the work of Hadewijch should be seen from its pedagogical and catechetical function that emphasized the moral behaviors that supported the beguines religiosity.
