Abstract

Current discussion deals with an understanding of childhood asan analytical category that visualizes the child within early childhood education and elementary education to provide reflections and challenges for the school in its endeavor to organize time and space as from the concept of childhood. The understanding of childhood will be undertaken from the three-fold axis of time, experience and invention. The essay will show how the concept of childhood should address early childhood education to primary education and investigate a type of early childhood education that would implement and not prevent the exercise of childhood.

Anete Abramowicz, Universidade Federal de São Carlos
Professora Titular do Departamento de Teorias e Práticas Pedagógicas da Universidade Federal de São Carlos na área de Didática e Currículo: sub-área Infância. Possui graduação em Ciências Sociais pela Universidade de São Paulo (1979), mestrado em Educação: História, Política, Sociedade pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (1992) e doutorado em Educação pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1998). Em 2010 concluiu um estágio de pós-doutoramento de 13 meses no CERLIS (Centre de Recherche Sur Les Liens Sociaux) na Universidade Paris Descartes em Paris na área da Sociologia da Infância. Tem experiência na área de Educação, com ênfase na Educação para a infância, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: criança e infância, sociologia da infância, diferenças, relações raciais, etárias e de gênero. Em 2010 recebeu a bolsa produtividade nível 2. Foi coordenadora do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da UFSCar de 2003 a 2005, foi coordenadora do FORPRED da ANPED e vice-coordenadora do GT de 0 a 6 anos da ANPED.
