Ethical Guidelines - Editorial Board
- Analyze submissions and direct the editorial flow, considering the thematic focus of the journal and the ethical guidelines for publication.
- Guide guest editors, authors and reviewers on the editorial flow and the peer review process;
- Ensure anonymity and confidentiality during the doubly anonymize peer review process (cf. Flowchart);
- It is the responsibility of the Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editor, and Guest Editor to select and appoint suitable reviewers, as well as to keep their respective data up to date;
- Protect the intellectual property and authors' rights, with attention to the integrity of the received submissions, requesting the authors' consent for any use of the articles;
- Analyze thematic call proposals to verify whether or not they meet the scope of the journal;
- Ensure and encourage the maintenance of good editorial practices, to avoid conflicts of interest between editors, reviewers, and authors, as well as promoting equality, particularly concerning anonymity, in the evaluation process.
